We have this insurance for our dog and can recommend them.as a company When ever we have put a claim in they have been very good both in understanding we our dog needs and paying out very quickly with no problems and thats what you need because slot of the time when you pet needs to.see the vet your are upset and need see them and I ow they are covered to enable to have treatment quickly so you can concentrate on getting your family member (pet) well again. They are very approachable and they may not be the cheapest insurance in our opinion they are the best. They are recommended by a Number of vets which always a good sign and gives me confidence they are a good company and also pay the Vet bills directly to the Vet which saves problems too I would recommend.👍

Our dog has been insured with pet plan for the last 5 years. They were recommended to us by our vet and we got a months free cover when we signed up to them. Our dog has lifetime insurance, so we know she is covered for anything that might happen. We have only had to claim once. Our dog needed emergency surgery, it was easy to fill out the paper work and our claim was paid quickly and there were no issues at all. Their customer service is excellent and they often send informative emails keeping you up to date with your policy and offering advice. They are not the cheapest when it comes to pet insurance but they offer fantastic coverage.

Nowadays, if you have a pet, you really should have pet Insurance. It may not feel necessary while they are young and vital, but chances are as they grow older things will start to deteriorate, medically speaking. He went through many scans, procedures and was prescribed expensive medicine – but the vet simple sent the invoices directly to Petplan and they were paid, so no need for us to pay and have to claim back. There was an upper limit to how much we could claim per year, but as I remember this was quite generous, and we never got close to that amount.
