Scottish Friendly discount code everyone clicked
Plenty of people went for this Scottish Friendly discount code because it knocked £100 off Children’s Educational Plans. That’s a decent saving in one go. It didn’t hang around for long either, especially with so much interest from our community. It has expired now, but we’re still keeping an eye out for the next strong money-off code.

Scottish Friendly perk: My Benefits card savings
If you’re looking for a Scottish Friendly discount code, the closest everyday equivalent is the My Benefits card. It isn’t a one-off voucher. It’s an ongoing customer perk that can trim the cost of regular spending.
Once you register for My Plans and switch to paperless, the card is sent out by post. After that, you can tap into savings from thousands of retailers, with offers including up to 15% off at shops and restaurants. The useful bit is that it sits alongside your ISA or life insurance rather than affecting it, so you can just use it when you’re out buying everyday things.
- Savings and offers from thousands of retailers
- Up to 15% off at shops and restaurants
- Extra ways to save, including gift card discounts and online shopping offers
A practical move is to choose paperless as soon as you set up My Plans instead of meaning to do it later. Then log in, set your town or city, and pick the categories you care about. It makes the relevant deals easier to spot, which usually means you’ll actually use the card.

Money saving tips at Scottish Friendly
Time the ISA gift
If you’re looking for a Scottish Friendly discount code, the closest thing tends to be the My Rewards welcome vouchers on selected new ISA policies. At the moment, the window we’ve seen covers eligible new direct applications received and processed between 16/02/2026 and 30/04/2026.
It’s tiered, so do the numbers before you apply. For lump sums, it currently works like this:
- £100 voucher for £5,000 to £9,999
- £200 voucher for £10,000 to £14,999
- £350 voucher for £15,000 to £20,000
One detail that’s easy to miss: ISA transfers don’t count, and the lump sum has to stay invested for 6 months. After that, vouchers are sent within 28 days.
Go monthly
If a lump sum isn’t realistic, Scottish Friendly’s ISA monthly reward can be worth up to £50 in vouchers. The catch is that you need to make 6 qualifying monthly payments.
We’d set the direct debit at a level you can comfortably keep going for the full six months. Change it around too much and you can fall outside the criteria, which is a frustrating way to miss the reward.
Over 50s
Scottish Friendly also has a £100 My Rewards welcome gift voucher on new Guaranteed Over 50s Life Insurance plans once 6 monthly premiums have been paid.
There are two things worth checking before you rely on it:
- It isn’t for existing Over 50s customers
- It can’t be used alongside another offer
Use the app
We haven’t seen an app-only discount, but the My Plans app is still useful if you want to keep tabs on an ISA or Junior ISA. It helps with tracking contributions, which matters if you’re trying not to slip up on those 6 monthly payments needed for a reward.
My ISA policies can also be cancelled online through My Plans within the 30-day cancellation window. That’s handy if you apply and then decide it’s not quite right.
Newsletter nudge
Scottish Friendly’s newsletter sign-up doesn’t appear to include a cash incentive, but it can still be worth having. It gives you updates on special offers, product details and general financial tips.
If you tend to forget dates, this is one of the easier ways to keep an eye on welcome-gift windows like the ISA offer period above without having to keep checking the site.
Frequently asked questions about Scottish Friendly
How do I use/apply a Scottish Friendly discount code?
Scottish Friendly works a bit differently from a normal online shop, so there usually isn’t a promo code box to fill in. Most of the time, what people mean by a “Scottish Friendly discount code” is a reward offer, like a welcome voucher.
- Choose the offer you want to go for, such as the My Rewards voucher on selected new ISA policies or the £100 welcome voucher on the Guaranteed Over 50s Life Insurance plan.
- Apply directly for the eligible product.
- Check the qualifying rules before expecting the voucher to arrive:
- For lump sum ISAs, the money needs to stay invested for 6 months. After that, vouchers are usually sent within 28 days.
- For monthly ISAs, you need to make 6 qualifying monthly payments, then the voucher is usually sent within 28 days.
- For the Over 50s plan, the £100 welcome voucher is sent after 6 monthly premiums.
We’d treat it as qualify first, voucher later. It’s not really a standard coupon-code setup.
What can I do if my Scottish Friendly code isn’t working?
If a Scottish Friendly voucher or discount code isn’t working, the usual issue is that it isn’t actually a code-based deal in the first place, or the application doesn’t meet the offer rules.
- Check what kind of offer it is
- A lot of Scottish Friendly deals are rewards through My Rewards or perks through My Benefits, not codes you type in.
- Make sure you’re applying for the right product
- ISA welcome gifts apply to new direct policies in My Choice (ISA), My Easy Choice (ISA) and My Climate Leader Choice (ISA).
- ISA transfers and payments into existing policies are excluded.
- Check the timing and qualification steps
- The current ISA welcome gift terms say eligible new direct applications need to be received and processed between 16/02/2026 and 30/04/2026.
- Lump sums have to stay invested for 6 months.
- Monthly plans need 6 qualifying monthly payments.
- Look out for offer conflicts
- The Over 50s £100 welcome gift can’t be combined with another offer.
- For ISA welcome gifts, only one offer applies per customer per payment type, so one monthly reward and one lump-sum reward.
If it still doesn’t look right, double-check how you applied. Some routes are excluded, including cashback-site applications for the Over 50s welcome gift.
Is there a Scottish Friendly voucher for new customers?
Yes, but it’s usually set up as a welcome gift rather than a simple voucher code.
- Selected new ISA policies can qualify for My Rewards gift vouchers worth up to £400, depending on the amount invested and the offer terms.
- Current lump-sum ISA tiers are:
- £100 voucher for £5,000 to £9,999
- £200 voucher for £10,000 to £14,999
- £350 voucher for £15,000 to £20,000
- There’s also up to £50 in vouchers on qualifying new ISA monthly payments, once 6 qualifying payments have been made.
- The Guaranteed Over 50s Life Insurance plan also has a £100 welcome gift voucher after 6 monthly premiums. That’s for new plans only, not existing customers, and cashback-site customers are excluded.
Can I use more than one Scottish Friendly voucher/offer at the same time?
Usually not. Scottish Friendly has fairly clear non-stacking rules.
- The Over 50s £100 welcome gift voucher can’t be used alongside any other offer.
- For ISA welcome gifts, only one offer applies per customer per payment type. In practice, that means one monthly reward and one lump-sum reward, not multiple offers stacked on the same payment type.
Does Scottish Friendly have an app (and are there app-only discounts)?
Yes. Scottish Friendly has the My Plans app, which lets customers manage ISA and Junior ISA investments on mobile.
At the moment, we haven’t seen any app-only discounts in the current terms. The app looks more like an account management tool than a separate source of voucher offers.
What’s Scottish Friendly’s cancellation/exit policy if I change my mind?
Scottish Friendly says you have 30 days to cancel after opening a policy, for applicable products.
- My ISA policies can be cancelled online through My Plans.
- Other policies need to be cancelled by email or by sending a signed letter.
- ISA withdrawals can be made at any time.
- Junior ISAs can be transferred out, but the money belongs to the child and can only be accessed by them at age 18.
- ISA and Junior ISA products may have a £50 exit fee within the first 5 years, so that’s worth checking before moving money.

If you register for My Plans and switch to paperless, they’ll send you a My Benefits card, which gives you access to savings and offers at thousands of retailers. Scottish Friendly says that can mean up to 15% off at shops and restaurants, so it’s a decent little bonus on top of your policy.
