- I used to buy lots from Debenhams, but not so much now. I brought lots of stuff for a wedding once and had to send stuff back, then realised after a month they hadn't refunded some of it. After bit of hassle eventually got my refund. I did place a large order yesterday, first order in a long time. the delivery is often very slow. Says 3-5 working days, so probably won't see if until end of next week. They do have a sale most of the time, and voucher codes especially on branded toys. k54321b
- I don't often shop here, there is only one in my town center so is a bit far away for me to get to but I do love their beauty card, free samples and discount codes. They have a great beauty section and the sales girls are always so pleasant and friendly and don't complain about giving you samples. I do shop here for my mum as the sales girls always help me to find good gifts for her personally so cant fault their customer service, also only place I can ever find really good leather shoes in Glasgow SRFMLY
- I'm split on Debenhams to be honest, their prices can be high but they have.good sales. I find the staff mostly on the beauty counters to be quite.uptight and snobby. It's not a place I shop that much in now after my last experience when I used my beauty card for the free monthly gift you get and the lady was very reluctant to give it to me. I haven't been back in since. zararoberts86
- Never shop here as it’s just too expensive and I find most of there clothing outdated and suited to older clientele. The only times I have visited in recent years was for a freebie sample. Not a fan sadly. I used to shop there when they had a mikey jewellery section and loved the sale as you could get some bargains but they stopped doing that years ago. The gift section also used to be quite good at Christmas but it has turned very gimmicky and not anything I would gift to anyone. Also most items are available online for a fraction of the price. I think it will probably be another company to go to administration soon sadly as department stores become a thing of the past. LaurenScarlett
- I'm using shopping from Debenhams I love the dresses and the price I have bought 3 dress for my marriage in a very good price . Also I love their make up and perfume and the special offers and vouchers are great. I have my Debenhams card I love the free sample some time sample are full size I love them and of course collect points that always using for Christmas. Basically buy make-up from them as it is great quality. better buying a good product than to use then 10 products which are cheap. JoJoG
- I almost never shop at Debenhams as I just feel uncomfortable walking in the door. I have ventured in now and again to use their make-up stands and promo codes to buy gifts as I knew what I specifically wanted. It's not a shop I would buy from in person often or even look at their website. It's a shame their prices are so high, it's tough on the high street right now. funwithlisa
- I love Debenhams it’s got so many things to choose from.. love going and having a bargain especially having a skin test done to see what type of foundation fits me. They also have a good sale on with lots of discounts and special offers to suit everyone. The pay and collect is good so you can collect when your ready. Make up counter perfume counter is my favourite. I will be making another purchase very soon - hopefully with a Debenhams voucher code. DawnBailey
- Cant say I'm a Debenhams girl, not a fan of the clothing as doesn't really suit my style and find it expensive compared to other high street shops. Also had a bad experience when i did order something online, had to chase for my return to be credited to my account and took several phone calls to resolve the issue. Its free returns but would of been quicker and less hassle to return to store. sarahtwinmom
- My review of Debenhams is only really relevant to my local branch. Some of the beauty counter staff are very standoffish and patronising and I've found that if I'm in there in business dress I receive a much friendlier service than I do if I'm in there in casual wear after lugging boxes around at work. Same job, same person but judged differently. I think that's a real shame as that's no way to do business! That said the Clinique and Benefit ladies are always lovely, as are the staff in the non-beauty/perfume departments.
- The prices are a little high but the quality is usually good. The blue cross sales are great too. I am a beauty club member and I like the free treats and discount codes. The restaurant is pleasant, the store is clean but could do with modernisation as it's a little reminiscent of Are You Being Served? It's not my favourite store but I like that it has all the departments in one place. However I think that attitudes and decor could do with being brought up to date! kellyknight
- I love Debenhams beauty so only really shop there for make and or fragrance. Especially because I have a Debenhams beauty club card. The points make a big difference and the new monthly treat for club card holders has been very appealing too. I don’t often buy clothes from Debenhams but the recent sale they had on coats was fantastic! Really good quality coats at good prices. So I got a bargain in the sales. AniMoh
- I use Debenhams for their beauty card rewards and there Make up section mainly the Benefit section, I find that although the rest of the items in the store are lovely, a lot of it is overpriced , I like to browse in Debenhams when they have their sale on as i can sometimes pick up a great bargain, I do find it hard to relax in most departments as I feel the eyes of the staff on me everywhere I go especially when I'm in the beauty section asking for samples, if i start to walk round the shop after that I get watched Nikki2017
- I shop online at Debenhams occasionally mostly when they have a sale on. They have a wide variety of goods for the hope and clothing & footwear for the whole family. I've always found everything I've bought to be good quality. The orders are dispatched and delivered within a few days quite often with free delivery. I don't have a store near to me to shop there regularly unfortunately. The nearest being 26 miles away and the next one 33 miles away. The beauty card is an added bonus being able to collect points on cosmetic purchases. jacquis
- I use Debenhams for a variety of different things. I like the freebie beauty rewards offer every month, and the good selection of ‘present’ items on the ground floor which is always changing. They have great discounts and deals, the best one is the £5 voucher when you click and collect. Staff in-store are friendly and the website is easy to use. Their shoe section has a great range of brands and styles and usually has a good range of sizes in stock. Also in-store the cafe is reasonably priced and sometimes they give away free coffee vouchers if they feel that you have had a problem with your experience in-store. Freebiesarefun
- Debenhams I love. You usually find on cosmetics they offers are a lot better then other high street shops like boots. But they also have such a great versatile range of clothes for all ages. And the prices often surprise me. The click and collect they have ive used a lot and never had any problems with it. Always been there when they’ve said it would be and never damaged or anything. Only negative I have is if there isn’t anyone on the make up counter you want someone else will come over and try and help although they help isn’t usually good rainydayas
