  • I think Sports Direct is great for good value sports wear for kids when they grow so quickly! They usually have good range of sizes, styles & colours available in store, and their deal of the week is usually a great bargain too! Plus you can even get good savings from discount codes here. However...I'm not overly fond of their refund policy though, if you’ve ordered to “click & collect” at store, and you get home and it’s not suitable - you don’t get a refund to go shop elsewhere, they issue a credit note for future purchases. • Sports Direct is in my eyes a really good store, it has a range for all ages young to old, and both men’s, women’s, boys and girls. If you're not into the latest up-to-date sports fashion, then this is ideal as its majority branded labels are all at discounted prices, and the discounts are really good. They have a huge selection of clothes, shoes/trainers, accessories and also gadgets too. You also don’t need to travel very far to find one and are in nearly every shopping Center. I also like the fact you can shop online, and order to the store, as there’s nothing worse than seeing it online and going in store and it’s not there lol. Also make sure to check out the latest voucher codes at Latest Deals if you want to get free delivery. I personally don’t like it that you get a credit instead of a refund, but I suppose that depends on how often you shop there and what you tend to buy. All in all it’s a well established shop and in my eyes it’s great. TahiraChaudhry
  • Sports Direct is a great place for deals, as long as you never buy anything not reduced. It's where I always get my trainers and boots, as they have great brands at great prices and you can really save a lot form online discount codes. Many things are overpriced before it's reduced, but there is always a sale. There are obviously some good deals on sporting goods, but occasionally you can find non-sport goods you wouldn't expect to find there as well. Their branded advertising items (cups, bags, etc) are well made as well and generally well priced both online and in store. Angemala
  • I think Sports direct is a brilliant store. They are usually my go to when I need anything sport related. They have very good deals on loads of things and luckily for me it always seems to be the things I need to buy! The range and variety of clothing, shoes and equipment is fantastic and there's usually am employee close by to help you find the products you need! I think the prices are incredibly reasonable but the store doesn't skimp on quality at all. I like that the do a wide range of brands and even their branded item usually have sales at various time of year and you can get good deals from voucher codes found here. Love the store. Mashleigh
  • Sports Direct had so many cheap deals for sports equipment, clothing and shoes. You have to be sure of your purchase and I would recommend trying everything on instore before you buy as they don't do cash refunds. They only do credit notes even if something is faulty. Sometimes the products are not great quality unless you buy Nike or adidas style brands. At the weekends don't try to buy shoes as they never have enough staff to get the right shoe size for you. They need a ticketing system to combat this problem. Don't forget to look for discount codes online especially at Latest Deals if you want to save money on your purchases. Freebiesarefun
  • Over the years I have shopped a lot in Sports Direct. I find they’re range of sportswear very vast with lots of quality items for a minimal price. Even though I know that the brands are not owned by the original owners but in fact by Sports Direct who use their brand names, the goods themselves live up to my expectations. I’m not bothered by brand names when I’m working out as I try not to see anyone. I have ordered using click and collect a few times and even though it isn’t free (£3.99) they give you a £5 voucher when you collect that you can use in store or online so I don’t mind and you. Make sure to look online for voucher codes if you want to get free delivery. I also like they’re range of footwear in particular walking boots which wear very well. Plus there camping and hiking goods are also of a high standard and I use my hiking rucksack from there multiple times a year. LaurenScarlett
  • Myself and my son have both been big fans of Sports Direct for years. When you have a 6ft teenager this company has saved me so much money over the years. From tracksuits to t-shirts, jackets and boots and bags my son still shops their now. Great range of affordable and fashionable good quality clothing that lasts I cant rate this company highly enough. Great stores with friendly helpful staff and great website too, ordered online multiple times and never had one issue yet. Always check for online voucher codes if you want to take advantage of good deals. SRFMLY
  • I buy a lot from Sports Direct as I find they have brilliant sales and everyday prices. I must say that their online website is usually cheaper than instore prices and the clearance page on the website changes daily with even cheaper products on, and you can even get free delivery from voucher codes you can find at Latest Deals. Not only are there clothes and trainers, there is sports equipment, gifts and more. i have had issues before with clothing i brought online so I took it in store and they were very helpful, they gave me store credit for the amount so i could purchase something else whilst I was there. great store with great prices all the time! zararoberts86
  • Love Sports Direct. The deals on clothing are generally great. Have picked up so much of my fitness stuff - running tights, swim wear, Skechers, walking shoes, hiking shoes all at great prices. One can always manage to find great brand and great prices. The variety isn't all that great and you might find products from the previous season, but if that doesn't matter to you then it can be great. The problem again is that things available online aren't necessarily available in store and online delivery is not free. You can however pay for delivery to get a £5 voucher to spend in store which isn't bad plus you can get bargain deals from online discount codes. Also the return policy isn't all that great, since you can only get a store credit and no cash back. kird2818
  • Sports Direct have good deals and prices, although I don't usually find the size I am looking for when it comes to their children clothing. I would have been happier if they had a bigger variety in sizes. I would like to see a bigger variety in their shoes as well, was looking for specific styles available in other retailers, where Sports Direct didn't stock them. Since they bring the specific brand, I would have liked them to have even a few of this model in any colour. What I don''t like is that when you choose "click and collect" and the product is not suitable, you are only given store credit, rather than a refund.c But what I do like though are the savings you can get from online discount codes you can find here. Wide range of products and good prices - often offering branded clothing, sportswear etc at greatly reduced costs. It is easy to find what you're looking for and there is a feature to add products to a wish list to return to at a later time. Delivery is somewhat expensive (standard delivery is £4.99) but perhaps reasonable considering the discounted prices, click and collect is offered but frustratingly this also costs £4.99. However, every time you use click and collect, you'll receive a £5 voucher to spend in store (you'll be given your voucher by our store staff when you collect your parcel).

On late arrival for an Aberdeen city break my walking boot soles had disintegrated and I had to find something fast. From the media, I had a very poor view of Sports Direct but there was little choice. All I can say is that for outdoor and sports footwear it would now be the first place I'd check out. The sales man was brilliant-not pushy just informed and patient. The prices were excellent in fact I ended up with a pair of drastically reduced traineres which are still wearing well, in addition to my new boots. I have marked the company down a star because they made it so difficult for me to leave positive and personal feedback on their employee. There was no in-store option and my attempts via Facebook and email were not responded too. I was probably very lucky in the peson who served me but the fact remains that their prices, stock levels and range were excellent.

Previously I didn’t have the greatest of opinion of sports direct but my latest experience was really positive. Great prices and my trainers were delivered right on time. Very happy. However, It is what it is. Customer service can be much better. I have picked up some super bargains from SD and these special offers have made me very happy and introduced me to companies such as Karrimor, Gelert, Firetrap, Everlast. Lonsdale etc. I do not buy the big named companies.

Ordered a yoga mat recently and it was faulty. I emailed them 5 times and no answer from them. I tried to use the chat and ..no use at all. So i opened a complain with my online banking and the next day sports direct was emailing me saying they would refund me. Other than that its 3 stars because

This site is great for all your sports and none sports essentials like clothing and footwear but on a budget, not only before you would get a £5.00 voucher to spend in the store when you choose click and collect but the service in my opinion is great and I can't fault this.

I've used these both for delivery and in-store shopping. The stores are generally big and can sometimes feel a bit chaotic as they are so packed with items - that said there is a good choice but for a more pleasant experience I would prefer online. If you think being in store is useful to try items on, forget it. Changing room are nomally next to the til and have slatted doors not even full length and give you no privacy at all. Prices are decent although the quality of items tend to be hit and miss, with some of the cheaper brands for items such as hiking (Karrimor) not comparing to other well known brands. I've also noticed when some brands end up in Sports Direct, the quality drops. Postage is charged and the returns policy is poor, only getting a credit note rather than refund.

One of the cheapest retailers for sportswear and sports goods, it is a site I often use to check for the best deals for items I need and can rely on getting in good time. However, their RRP prices are questionable, and the site is often cluttered with tat that most may never buy, although the experience of shopping online is perhaps better than rummaging through the tat in person in their stores.

I have shopped both instore and online. Instore the 'original' price of some products is ridiculous, but you can get the odd bargain. Online the prices are different for the same thing instore. Delivery is normally ok, around a week, but if you need to return items you have to pay the return postage! Customer services are not helpful in my experience. The clothes quality is mainly good but i have had issues with mens tshirts, bad stitching and shrinkage after washing. Shoes and trainers are normally good, at a reasonable price.
