Alternatives to Brita?

Ask a Question

Though it’s not a huge expense, Brita filters can eat up a lot of your household budget if you don’t buy them on offer

Do you use a cheaper alternative? Or is Brita one of the best? I’ve only ever tried Brita

I have a Virgin Pure subscription. From £19 to £23 per month (depends on which filter you choose). Filtered hot/cold water, new filters every 6 months, and a new UV lamp every 12 months. If a friend refers you, you get the first 2 months free.

We have two Britas, (result 2 into 1 households) and both get Wilko's own brand filters and they work just as good, Wilko Aqua Advance Filter 6 Pack £15.00 (Brita Maxtra 3/£16) or Wilko Universal Water Filter Cartridge 6 Pack £9.00

Thanks. I often see the filters in Wilko and have been tempted but never bought as I didn’t think they'd be as good. But I might have to try them now
