Amazon or eBay?
Ask a Question
amazon or Ebay? Which one do you prefer or do you shop elsewhere? I think both have great deals but dislike hidden added postage.
I use both, because each one comes with its own pros and cons. For example, I find eBay to be generally cheaper overall as well as many of the products coming with free postage and as a bonus I collect nectar points. As for Amazon, you get much more reviews on products which makes it far easier for me to decide on whether or not I want to purchase a particular product. So swings and roundabouts.
Same. Although many things on eBay com from China. On Amazon it's not so prevalent.
I prefer Amazon and with Keepa, you can learn a lot about the products.
MartinBluck If you boycotted every shop/company that took advantage of their staff or treated them like dirt, there wouldn't be many places for you to go to.
I use both, first choice is usually Amazon thou as I have Prime , so delivery is usually quicker for me.
I also use both frequently. I use ebay more probably for the small cheaper priced items, but I like Amazon prime for items I need / want more quickly. Tend to also use Amazon more for any expensive items too .
I use both but use eBay more often, especially as I don’t have prime. I usually check both if I’m looking for something
I much prefer eBay, i find that the prices are more reasonable and the site in general is easier to use and find the items I want
amazon ..i have prime and just can't beat it ..been ripped off to many times on ebay before thanks to paypal always got money back though so all good
Definitely Amazon for me, there's just too many scammers on eBay.
And if you're selling, the fees are sooooooo high unless there's a promotion on.
Amazon for me mostly as i have Prime but also i hate paypal ive been stung in the past when i was a seller on eBay, if eBay offered other payment methods i would use more often as i hate giving Paypal any business after how they treated me in the past. a lot of sellers lie on eBay about their location and i have unwittingly ordered things which eventually come from China weeks later even though they said UK based. Hard to beat the Prime delivery speed and i am prepared to pay a little more to get quicker if necessary
I use Amazon. We have amazon prime so get free delivery, plus I get amazon vouchers from surveys, so doesn't normally cost me anything or very little when I order from there.
Whenever I have looked for items on ebay, normally baby stuff, I find that the prices are actually quite high, especially when you add on the postage, so I don't actually find that it is cheaper.
amazon because seems more reliable to me but ebay is cheaper most the times
i kinda drift between the 2 if im honest
I use Amazon more than eBay since I have a Prime membership so I can get a lot of items delivered the same day or next day for free which is perfect. Like a lot of other people who have commented on here, I also use survey sites and get Amazon vouchers as rewards.
I use both equally.. i usually go onto both and compare price / shipping time and order whatever is most suitable at the time.. usually it is amazon, but for anything second hand it’s always eBay
I use both but I prefer Amazon as you get better reviews so I can see if a product is worth buying
The postage is a nightmare isn’t it - amazon charge you for postage and packaging and eBay charge you for item and postage. Amazon use up too much packaging on their items
I use both. If I could only choose one it would be Amazon, Several times if I have had any questions or issues Amazon have been spot on. That said I often shop around with other retailers too. I think it is too easy to go straight to Amazon when you could find a better deal elsewhere.
Used both for buying only, but use Amazon overall as you can get some good offers, and they also have good customer service if there's any problems.
Things I love about Amazon ... Prime, free returns, no quibble returns, some things same day delivery, eBay is always a bit hit and miss depending on the seller.
