Anyone Know Why Everybodys Obsessed with Prime!
Other
My children really want this prime drink.Today we woke up at 06:00 to just try and get hold of this popular hydration drink ,we had driven to our local sainsburys to find out they didn’t receive the stock. So far they have tried 2 flavours (the red and the blue).I think in a couple of moths you would be able to get it everywhere. Our local sainsburys are apparently getting stock on Thursday but it will probably be all gone!I also believe this is going to be trend everybody goes mad for , then it goes down hill !
I seen on Facebook that some women is selling them £10 per bottle honestly couldn't believe it it's a flavoured water I have no idea what the big deal is I wouldn't even waste my money on one of them and it's meant to be for only over 18 years old anyway so dunno so many parents are trying there best to get it
I'm dreading my kids getting to this age. I've seen articles where people have paid stupid amounts of money to get these drinks.
You inspired us to create a competition to win 3 bottles of PRIME! Perhaps you can enter and you never know, might win for your kids

The only prime i would recommend is Amazon, as for the drink i will leave that to the gullible
There's been hype around the brand for ages and doesn't seem to be settling currently. As you said Sainsbury's got stock today but my local said they sold out by 06.30 am.
Wakey Wines not far from me has been selling it for £20 a bottle.
My lads got hold of some early on from someone who worked in Asda, it doesn't taste particular good, I think as soon as it becomes widely available it's won't sell particular well, it's definitely because it's hard to get hold and all over social media that it's popular. Pretty sure by now they could easily produce enough to supply the demand but they don't on purpose to create more hype.
Ooooh thanks Tom, I was put off buying them at the moment for the hype and wasn't going to queue up or spend my money, but a chance of winning them is different would be pretty cool!
I don't know what the hype is about to be honest, there is always a fab or faze with certain products it may be the influences that created it, not the actual product itself. As I've heard people say it tastes horrible and the kids usually want to collect the empty bottles more than anything.
I'm surprised the amount of parents that are going out of their way to queue or spend so much on them, when I was a child I could like or wish for things, but didn't mean we got it. Didn't matter that lots of other people had it. Not aiming this at anyone in particular right now but I do think lots of parents give in a lot more these days and it isn't always healthy for the children. (The giving in not the actual product!)
It’s just because it’s “cool” at school at the moment. We bought three bottles today for the competition prize, £10 each!
I was in Sainsbury earlier and there was 2 pallets full of Prime, I didn't buy any but spoke to the lady on customer service and they were limiting them to 3 bottles per person. They said the same man had come in 3 times wearing different jackets but they still recognised him, another customer was buying them to sell in his own shop for £10, madness.
I am sick of hearing about Prime, Wakey Wines, KSI and who’s getting stock next my kids had me all over the place looking for it! I wouldn’t mind, but I could make them a sachet of blackcurrant Dioralyte and it is practically the same thing! Money making at its best! And those selling them on at ridiculous prices should be ashamed of themselves! Thanks… rant over
I went in sainsburys and bought all them flavours for the kids don’t do my heading ,we were aloud to get how much bottles we wanted !
It’s just effective online advertising and taking advantage of vulnerable children who then nag their baffled parents
I remember TY beanie bears being a big fad as collectibles years ago, now you cannot give them away
They were even on the shopping channel
This video was from the USA
There are some exceptions i have posted the link below
Numbers 12, 23, 35 and 37 are ridiculous values, but i suppose someone will pay the prices
No 12 , the Royal Princess bear seems to be the most collectible and expensive if you have a spare
$970,000

telmel I must admit my mum spent a fortune buying us the ty beanie babies and I have no idea what happened to them. She did keep all my polly pocket stuff though which I sold a few years ago and made around £700.
We got hooked on getting the Beanie Bears craze and in our local shop you had to buy so many of the normal beanie babies to then buy a bear, I’ve got hundreds (well it must be close) in tubs in the roof
Seems madness now but that was the craze at the time
There's me thinking it was a, post about amazon prime. Never been in fashion. Well except when britpop was thing til it got labelled that it was indie/alternative
I have never tried it but heard people are selling it for £10 my grankids have bought it I would never pay all that for it
Because they are following the herd, I point blank refuse to buy it no matter how much the kids nag. I sound exactly like my mother your not having them just because everyone else is , if everyone else jumped off a bridge would you
Parents shouldn't be letting their kids drink these there's far too much caffeine in them. Plus anybody paying £10 for flavoured water would have to be clinically insane!
Sh2002 I thought that too but when I checked it out I found there is no caffeine in them. Earlier ones did apparently contain caffeine though.
Seen plenty on FB and such selling for ridiculous prices and also there is a reason it's not suitable for under 16yr olds due to what's in it.
I must be so out of the loop, when I saw your tittle I thought Amazon Prime
I think it's a Tiktok thing, some influencer but it's just overpriced sugar water with caffeine, I won't be buying it
think i am too old for this sort of thing now but I remember as a kid just happy with a can of coke
Only water truly quenches a thirst.Mind you,Thames Water have got us by the short and curlies there as well!
lucky77777 Sounds like there is a lot of profit for someone somewhere. I was expecting high levels of caffeine or taurine or something.
I suppose if you have a very high disposable income its ok to waste money like this but often you see people who don't have high disposable incomes yet follow trends like this and waste money they don't have.
