Anyone Tried Tumeric (With Black Pepper) for Ailments?
Other
The old knees are complaining and keeping me awake. Someone has recommended turmeric (with black pepper just as vitamin c needs to be taken with iron to help absorption) and I am wondering if anyone uses it?
I have ordered some from Amazon and the reviews are excellent, many folk even saying they have quit using painkillers.
I have heard of this before but dont know of anyone who has tried it, My daughter suffers from a hidden illness and has thought about getting some from simply supplements
I guess it is worth trying as long as it is from a reputable supplier. Mine hasn't arrived yet but I will report back with results once I've taken it for a while.
Yes tried it on my dog... didn’t make a noticeable difference for her arthritis, actually just upset her stomach (but she is a breed which have sensitive stomachs)
Lol, well luckily I don't suffer from any digestive/stomach problems so I will keep my fingers crossed and let you all know the outcome.
I have used it and I didn't notice any big improvement, maybe I took it occasionally and I should have it regularly. What is working for me very quickly is organic tumeric, natural ingredients too and I didn't have any side effects. But everyone responds different, I would suggest you trying and continue if something is working for you. Also, check with your GP if it can affect any other condition that you suffer from
Yes probably need to take it regularly. I have glucosamine which I keep forgetting to take. Maybe I will stand them on coffee canister where visible rather than in the cupboard.
I've not heard of this, but my mum has the same issue and she said something about lacking or needing quinine? Not sure if that's spelt right, you can get it in tonic water
Please don't take what I say as gospel, I could be wrong, but quinine is a prescribed drug rather than an over the counter supplement. My friend has it from doc for night cramps but has had to have an alternative lately as apparently there is a shortage. It used to be the go to medicine for malaria but that may now be out of date.
