Do You Apply Multiple times for Freebies Using Several Email Addresses?

Other

I just spotted over at Facebook a comment regarding someone who had applied multiple times for freebie using several email addresses. As a result, she has a large amount of samples of something, whilst other people didn't get any as the company ran out of samples. This is a moral issue. Is it right to apply for yourself several times or should you be honest and apply once using one email? I only apply once and the few times I did apply using another email was on behalf of my mum (got her cat food, cat treats and some for me, perfume), so I wasn't claiming multiple lots for myself. On the one hand I can understand why people do it and on the other I think it isn't fair as then so many of us miss out when samples run out. Any thoughts on this?

It is not right I agree, but there is no way to control such a thing. Most companies will have checks in place to send samples per household or per ip address or per postcode. If not then if there are say 50,000 samples then they are moat likely sent at random! No way of checking really. But yes pro freebie hunters will just claim. Some do take this "hobby" seriously! Lol!! Amazes and puzzles me... it's only a freebie after all! 🙄😀

I love my freebies and freebie hunting, but I do not apply for more than one! It isnt fair to other people as it means that they miss out! Most freebie hunters that I know do not like people applying for multiple freebies, it is frowned upon.

Yes, a freebie gentleman's agreement so speak, I'm with you. I've noticed it many many times in photos over on facebook that people have applied several times. I note most companies up front only one per household, but they clearly aren't too diligent in enforcing this. I don't do it, but people do. Even multiple Debenhams beauty club cards. I wondered how widespread this was.

ShellyAnn Not sure how widespread it is either. Most companies do say one per household and if you apply more than once then you don't get sent any! But obviously not very company has this.

Some companies monitor this and if u use the same address, you will not get any samples.

I love applting for freebies but only apply once and only apply for things I need/want/use etc

its not right when you see people with more than two samples of the same. To me it’s just greedy!!

I apply for things that my friends and family would use. So many of the samples do get given to them, but I only apply once.

I send little sample parcels to my step daughter who works away at an outward bounds centre, i try and make little goodie bags up and she love receiving them........its shame people abuse the freebies

I think you should only apply as many times as the rules states, to give everyone a fair chance.

I just spotted elsewhere someone admitting they applied 4 times for something and received one, but I got an email saying my order had been cancelled and I followed the rules. I think there is a lot of people out there who are applied multiple times.

This is where it becomes unfair! You haven't got the freebie you applied for because someone else was greedy!
