My neighbor has artificial grass with a big dog. It doesn't bother him. the dog had destroyed there real grass. It's a big dog right enough. It also meant that less mud was drag in by dog and kids. They aren't out much maintaining it. It is starting to look flat and a bit faded in spots. For looks wise real grass looks better to me personally.

Depends what the use is for since you ha e a dog real grass might be better if be concerned if they nibble the fake grass as well as their poop can be fertilizer
