Other
Im already chomping at the bit for one of my favourite seasons anyone else autumn ready- what are your routines? Autumn according to the MET officially begins sept 23rd this year. In readiness I am trying a homemade pumpkin spiced latte...........cheers everyone
Autumn is hear on the 23rd of September . And I just love Autumn. All the driffrant colours of the trees. Lovely walks. Dark evenings Halloween marketing pumpkin soup. Doing my knitting and sewing. And I love to bake has well. Making gingerbread man. .
I tend to go by the 3 months per season theory.
So Spring is March, April & May, Summer is June, July & August, Autumn is September, October & November. And Winter is December, January & February.
Of course as I sit here in my shorts it's not feeling too Autumnal yet.
I would say we skipped autumn and have hit winter in Scotland although we also skipped summer so it’s basically still spring
When I was at school, autumn always began on or around the 21st September. But nowadays it seems to begin at the beginning of September. Either the equinox has shifted forward by a few weeks or it no longer exists, so people now settle for 1st September.
I honestly felt like Autumn began in 1st of September. For me it's already here. My mum got her boots out already and mine
I consider autumn as starting on the first of September, so September, October and November would be Autumn and then it turns to the theee months of winter and so on.
