Ask a Question

I read that the average age of a typical gamer in getting older. The 55 to 64 yrs old category has seen a sharp increase.

Are you a keen gamer? What sort of games do you play? Can anyone recommend a fun one for the iPad or the tiny screen of an android mobile?

I like to play fortnite on ps4, im a mum of 3 and my 2 boys got me into it a couple of years ago after i initially hated the game! I now have more wins than them 😆

I only play for a hour every now and again when the kids are all in bed (usually because i have other important things to do) but i do find it quite relaxing. I say...some mums have a glass of wine to unwind, i play fortnite 🤣.

My other half plays Call of Duty sometimes but i can't get the hang of that.

PinkElephant26 you’re very trendy with Fortnite! I think Tetris is about my limit. Impressive that you have more wins than your kids.

MissShakira was it any good? I find most games too complicated - probably just my short attention span 🤦‍♀️

HappyTravels it's so easy to set up and play or do experiences . It honestly did a lot for my (and my hubby) mental health during lockdown . You can sort of travel through it by visiting places which is fab. And it costs about the price of a smartphone (300 pounds) which is why we bought it in the first place.

My OH is a gamer but my eldest son is a serious gamer. Pre covid he used to travel alot entering gaming events / comps etc. Alot of his set up is from events he's won at. He also knows a few well known you tubers through it all. I used to play alot on xbox / ps when my sons were younger but not these days. Unless you count call of duty on mobile. I play that a fair bit.
