Baby Friendly Exercise
Ask a Question
I'm determined to lose weight before my sons christening in May. I've got 12 weeks. I'm cutting out crisps, chocolate, cake etc and cutting downy portion sizes at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The dog will now be getting an hours walk each day, plus hopefully pushing the pram will burn some extra calories! Are there any other forms of exercise I could do whilst looking after my son. I want something that can fit easily into our schedule and that he can possibly be involved in.
My c section had left me with a pouch and my tummy looks weird so I want to try and at least make the pouch smaller!
Try Yoga, especially baby yoga. It is much gentler than ordinary yoga and they do prenatal exercises too. I'm surprised that your classes aren't telling you some exercises to firm up your stomach.
He is 14 months now, so prenatal exercises are not an issue, but my prenatal classes never spoke about anything like that. I will look into baby yoga, the problem might be that he just wants to run around so won't cooperate!
Swimming. some places have swimming classes for you and baby. Try local toddler groups as well sometimes they have things going on extra that involve exercise while you are with baby
