I guess as the child grows up she'll just be glad they didn't go for Virgin as their provider.

Surely they won't stay anonymous for too long if they keep the name (not in the area they live anyway) but as you can change the name within the first year perhaps they have a way of getting out of it later on?

I certainly wouldn't do it, especially for such a crazy name.

Ann1984 That's right, the girl's second middle name, so it could just be a talking point when she has grown up, especially if the company goes bust.

It's kind of tasteless, but at least it's only her second middle name. The child is being forced into a figurative sandwich board as walking advertisement for a company. She may resent it later in life.
