Im a mummy of 4.
Parenting doesn't come with a book or rules, just winging it as we go along.
Any of you guys found any amazing products that helped along the way?
I found gummee glove & their products amazing.
Helped so much with teething babies.

Mummyk ha ha didn't mean I was excluded, (I'll push in on any chat lol but things have changed a lot since mine were babes). One bit of advice i would share to help with fussy eaters (my grandson) is to let them help make the food. They are far more likely to eat food they have made and seen what goes in it, they also want praise for their efforts when you eat it!
Ive got a 13 year old and a 17 month old. The best thing we bought for her was a ‘mama roo’ it played different white noise and had different rocking movements and even helped with wind/colic. We also had Mam bottles which are brilliant, you can take them apart and put them together in a different way to steralise in the microwave. Everything else was pretty much the same as it was 13 years ago 
I've got a 6 month old. I absolutely love the Gummee glove! Has helped him so much! I also love my steamer and blender, just shove it all in, press a button and viola, baby food!
I have a little word of advice for all new mums. Listen to your mums and nans. Just because something is old fashioned doesn't make it wrong. You don't have to act on it but worth working out if it would work for you.
Strangely enough my mother has never tried to give me advice on parenting. Although she told my auntie how proud she was of me and how I was coping really well.
My mother in law once told my husband I should have left the baby in his pramsuit for longer after we had been outside as now he would get cold. My husband saw it as criticism rather than advice, so she is careful how she phrases things now!
MrsCraig lol, yes I can see that, no one likes criticism. But I meant more along the lines of long term advice like a quick way of doing things, getting into routines etc. When advice is given in a caring loving way it is hard to be offended. Mothers in law......hmmmm that can be a minefield. Luckily my two daughters in law are more like real daughters.
Lynibis I'm like a daughter to my mother in law and she is very much like a second mother. I didn't think she was criticising just expressing her opinion.
She has given lots of advice about routines, how to get him started on baby foods and she is very supportive.
Think our mums find it hard as our son is not like 'normal' babies, so they don't want to say something to upset or offend us. But I take any advice of any kind on board and some of it works for us and some of it doesn't, I'm grateful either way.
The best advice has come from my husbands granny! She knows what she is talking about!

Hi Ladies! I am a first time mum to a 9 month old now. Living in Northern Ireland. I dont have any friends or family here besides my husband so its great to have other ladies to chat to 
I found that the best bum cream out there that has worked for me is the Dove brand. I have found that the other bum creams are more like a paste that are awful to try use when they go rock hard and always end up under my nail
I've tried sudocream and currently using bepanthen but find I have to use lots due to the consistency. Might give the dove one a go. Child's farm is meant to be really good stuff but don't know if they do nappy cream.
MrsCraig I tried the sudocream as well. Also thought it was quite hard when trying to take it out the tub and a little on the pricey side.
RebeccaAnd25138 I got a sample of it, so meant I didn't waste money buying it. I found it easier to get out the tub than bepanthen but I prefer the smell of the bepanthen. Will definitely be looking at different creams when I run out.
Hello everyone i have a 9 yr old boy, 8 yr old girl, 6 yr old boy & 2 yr old little man.
We are currently on a journey with CAHMS with my 6 yr old. He is such a character and full of life, but very challenging behaviour & sensory traits.
He didnt have the easiest little start. 14 lots of antibiotics from birth to 1 yr old.
Suffering from laryngomalacia, with other issues aswell. However he smiled throughout & keeps me on my toes.

My son hasn't had the easiest start either. Major heart problems. So I can understand how hard it can be.
I've worked with CAHMS as I'm a teacher and they are absolutely fantastic at what they do.
My oldest now 17 been with cahms since he was 5 not once have they let us down adhd dspraxia dislexic and just a young lad that can't social with other peers same age daughter 12 very challenging teen then a 9 year old similar problems as my oldest waiting to be seen by cahms
Then I have a 2 year old monster lol who is a hand full very bright intelligent child
I never bothers with all the technology equipment that is available in stores and online I knew that I would just get in to debt if spend 1000 on there first few months of life I bought pretty much everything second hand except bottles I boiled them in a large saucepan used a flash whice had bottle water temp so only need to add powder to bottle
Today the things they expect new parent to do with there child is unbelievable I basically wouldn't do what they say its your child bring them up how you feel is best
I had some amazing product. We used MAM products mostly and they were great. Also the Tommy Tippee milk machine made life easier. We used Cow and Gate milk powder, after I read a lot of feedback about the brands. It was great, we had no problem with eating. Later on 6 months Piccolo baby foods are so yummy, I believe what taste good for me, will taste good for my baby and that was the best. I saw now they have bigger product range.

I have a 8 year boy with ASD & ADHD he is amazing but a nightmare at times and a 1 month old baby Girl
1 of my best purchases for her has got to be this breast pump from Amazon, amazing price and it works so well, it also fits the classic Avent bottle (which i swear are the best)
Some of my best purchases for my boy have got to be essential oils, Lavender Vetiver and Chamomile are the 3 i swear by
A couple of drops of those in a bath and an audio book he is a different child x
My neighbours are expecting their first baby, so I put all of the nappies, baby bottles and gender neutral clothes my son had grown out of into a box for them and handed them over today. They were delighted with it. Glad that someone else can use them and I will definitely save more stuff for them.
I love knitting and have always made little matinee jackets, mitts and bonnets. I then wrap in tissue and place in a box with other useful items like baby lotion, cotton buds, baby wipes etc. It doesn't matter if they already have them as they will always get used.
I have knitted cardigans, hats and blankets that were knitted by my husbands granny and auntie. They are some of the most treasured items we have for our son. A friend of ours bought us baby wipes, shampoo, lotion, oil, talc. You are right that they come in handy.

Asda's clothing, especially the baby and toddler items wash and wear better than many others. (I've bought some of the more expensive options and they fade or change shape) Asda for children = good value.
So I'm currently weaning my son and I'm making all my own purees. I was lucky enough to win a tommee tippee steamer blender and I have to say it is the best prize I have ever won! It is so simple to use. Just add the water, put the ingredients in, press a button and leave it to work it's magic! 20 minutes later, tasty food for my son. Means I can spend more time playing with my son and I can make batches to freeze.
They are about £100, although amazon does deals on them and they are normally reduced in asda during the baby events. I would definitely recommend one!

The soup veg packs or frozen fruit are great cheap way of doing this too. I enjoyed making the purees for my little ones
Mothercare have their baby travel event on at the moment. Hope all of you parents have signed up for the Mothercare club? Their products can be a bit pricey but the club does allow special percentages off every now and again and they do offer exclusive deals.
I signed up to the mothercare club when I was pregnant, got a good deal on my pram because of it. Unfortunately our local one closed down, although there were some amazing deals in their sale!
Hey all, my son has cradle cap and was wondering what everyone did to get rid of it. I'm putting oil on his hair at night and brushing it out, as that's what my health visitor advised but wondering if there were other things I could try in case it doesn't work.

Yesterday was a very proud mummy moment! My son said his first word! He had been babbling away for days and then yesterday said Dada! He has been saying it ever since. My husband is delighted!
My second pregnancy really makes me so sick... I can not concentrate as much as usual....takes my energy level to zero...week 19 and lost 12kg so far.
