does the doctor not offer any pain relief and exercises she can do to strengthen the area. maybe get her referred to a physio to help her. meanwhile heat patches from the pound shop are a great help
My mother-in-law has exactly the same thing! She's used a tens. She also does Pilates, physio and as much walking as possible. She also bought an electric massage recliner chair which helped a lot.
Hi. Have u tired natural remedies would be plenty of ginger, garlic and turmeric all are pain receptor, might help. Also mindness and breathing exercises might help reduce pain a little. Sorry to hear about your mum. My mum is paraylsEd and has dementia so she in pain and also doesn’t remember who we are.

SusanEaston327 it’s difficult. But we hav to accept it. Nothing more we can do.
I have a bad back (not the same as your mum though) and visit a chiropractor regularly. I get excercises specifically meant for me & my condition. It's not for everyone but I find it helpful.
Taking about back pain. My brother in law has severe back pain. It’s some nervous gone wrong. have You tired back posture corrector? And deep back pain relife pack?
JohuraBegum No I haven't tried those things. I do feel for your brother though. When not at the chiropractor I use ice packs and/or heat packs and make sure that I do the exercises that I am supposed to do for my deteriorating condition.
hot water bags; mild exercises for back; get a physiotherapist advice; pillows when going to sleep; hot bath
I have had various issues with my back and the GP and the physio both suggested Bio freeze gel. It does cost a bit but its amazing. The best thing i have ever bought.
