Badger 'Chased' Woman around Aisles at Shell Petrol Station
In the News
This woman from North Wales was 'Shell' shocked when she was 'badgered' by this wild animal in the fuel station
She was so traumatised that she dropped the curry she was about to buy
Maybe the badger liked takeaways and wanted hers , in any case he nipped to the loo before he left, he couldn't hold it any longer
But i had to laugh when she said "A police officer walked in and saw it but then just turned around and walked back out."
Maybe the long arm of the law wasn't long enough to deal with this incident
He finally got the ''brush'' off when a random customer chased it out with a broom , what a hero !!

telmel She is originally from Hawarden North Wales but it happened in Staffordshire so you might want to amend your title - thanks!
"It happened on Monday as I was on my way back from work at around 8:00pm. I stopped in at the Shell garage in Stafford and there it was," Molly recalled.

telmel - a ridiculous story which is worst than believable. We've only got her word for it.
I see badgers a fair bit. I remember walking through a small park close to my home and a whole load of young badgers and parents were running around me for a second before disappearing and they weren't aggressive at all. Just the other night a huge badger crossed my path as I was walking down the road around the corner from my house. My house garden backs onto a small unkept field which likely has loads of them. My cat is always disappearing into that field to investigate what is going on there and have neighbours cats walk through my garden on route to that field.
BonzoBanana I would have thought the majority are just shy with humans B, possibly this one was extremely frightened and became a little aggressive because it was trapped in the petrol store, and it wouldn't have helped with the woman screaming at it
telmel You do get the occasional very aggressive badger, you might be close to their set or perhaps they are desperate for food. I went for a bicycle ride in the country in the past in the middle of the night as I worked a nightshift and often couldn't adapt back to being awake in the day so ended up with leisure time in the middle of the night. I had my headphones on and heard an animal snuffling and chasing me but carried on cycling (but a bit faster) and was soon clear of it. Also a friend was attacked by a badger while walking home from a pub. I think he had some minor injuries to his leg and had to go to the doctor. He lived at the time more out in the countryside and I'm sort of wondering if countryside badgers are more aggressive as food is harder to obtain and they have to fight for it more.
Some members may recall that that badger bears a remarkable rememblance to the cat I posted about finding in my garden some years ago.
