Some Bamboo Eco Toilet Paper Contains Only Tiny Amounts of Bamboo

In the News

You know when you try to be eco friendly , then you suddenly realise you are having the wool pulled over your eyes ?

Well in this case you are having the wood pulp pulled across your derriere !!

Consumer watchdog 'Which' tested some eco friendly bambo toilet rolls and found some only contained 2.7 per cent bamboo, the rest was wood pulp from other woods, some of them heavily implicated in deforestation. and found in normal toilet rolls

So not only are people paying a premium to try to save the planet, but are actually getting 'bamboo zled '

So it's not just inflation and shrinkflation you need to watch out for , but also false loo 'paper trails'

Typical! 🙄. Can’t trust anything now. Have you seen the Easter egg that looks like it’s been trodden on it’s so flat? They are still calling it egg shape and you can’t tell face on from the box until you take it out! That is just sneaky.

JLouM It must be cheaper to make J and less egg to damage otherwise they wouldn't sell it

I never heard about them before you mentioned it but found this one online

Not really surprising at this point, half of these companies just do this stuff as a way to sell products.

jms19 Is the same with farm fed organic J, can we believe it is organic , paying double or triple the price of normal products ?

Some companies just cannot be trusted

telmel I have never taken any notice of these over-the-top claims to be organic, natural, free range etc. I always buy the cheapest products and save money.

It is far too easy for firms to make 'green' claims that are believed rather than thoroughly investigated and then either found to be correct or thrown out because of false claims. Image
