Curious do you stay home on bank holidays or do you travel to places?

I wanted to travel this weekend but the roads have been so bad we decided to plan things locally- traffic jams on BH just seems to suck the life out of me

Hoping traffic ain't to bad today but with the weather I think a lot be hitting the beach got to travel from Cardiff to Southampton this afternoon and m4 yesterday had a 25 mile tailback

I live in an area that most people want to travel to on Bank Holidays so unless we go out fairly early and not too far away I wouldn't be bothered to join in the traffic queues. This weekend's plans - local beach one day and gardens and cocktails for the rest.

Completely depends. Sometimes do nothing, sometimes go away for a weekend. This weekend is in the middle of a 2 week holiday though - I forgot we even had a bank holiday!

Generally no, unless I'm travelling a good few days before or after a Bank Holiday weekend. Travelling over during a Bank Holiday can easily turn into a bit of a nightmare.
