Between those two, BBC without a doubt. I find sky sensationalise things too much. I do prefer channel 4 news overall though. Can't beat John Snow.

Off subject but I guess everyone knows I am a bit of a history geek and Dan Snow is a great historian, son of Jon Snow.

Lynibis is he? I thought they were cousins or something.

ClaireF1978 sorry! I meant Peter Snow! They are dead ringers for each other too. Must admit I prefer Sam Willis and Dan Jones, historians.

BBC over Sky but I find myself watching ITV as it's lighter, the news is often too much to take!

I've not had a tv license for a few years and don't cheat but when I did I preferred the BBC over Sky marginally. Nowadays I get my news from browsing websites like the BBC and from youtube or from radio broadcasts.

I'm not a fan of sky news and would always choose BBC. I also like the BBC news website.

I watch both depending on who is presenting. Although, I'd say BBC is better overall.
