Where Do You Buy Bedding?
Ask a Question
hi ive recently purchased a new double bed for my son - where is a good place to get bedding please - need covers and duvets, its so difficult to see the qulity of bedding when purchaseing on line, so hopeing for some good advice please
I normally buy our bedding from the supermarkets or from Dunelm. George at Asda is really good quality and not expensive either
I've always bought my beddings from La Redoute. The cotton ones are great quality and there's often good discounts
I've been getting Egyptian cotton sheets and bedding from George at Asda for a couple of years and they have been great quality. Having said that, they don't have much online atm. (only pillowcases) Not sure if it's a supply issue but well worth having a look at as they are much more fairly priced than comparable options elsewhere.
Nickynoo40 I got all my replacement bedding, sheets, duvet, covers etc from Wilko, but not the value/basic range and they have all washed and dried well
I purchased my last double set online from Wilkos and was worried because you can not see the colour or the texture properly but I was more than happy with the product and the price I paid.
Hi Nickynoo40
Check out the half price bedding offers at Dunelm:

And the clearance duvet sets at JD Williams - from £6, here:

I agree with everyone recommending Dunelm - their bedding is great quality and reasonably priced. I'd definitely recommend them!
I agree with George at Asda and Dunelm. Plus M&S when they have homeware offers on, quality is great and price is then reasonable!
brill thank you all for your help - gonna go through your comments and see what i can get
Asda is my fav place to buy bedding also I have got some for half price I find the most comfortable bedding to be the flannelette bedding
I totally agree about the comfort of flannelette bedding .... it just takes so much longer to dry ...so we tend to stick with polycotton. I was put off Dunelm after once buying their own brand duvet cover and finding it just looks a mess after washing and I so hate ironing. Our others are good to go after a shake and fold !
Obviously it depends on your budget and if you want 100% or linen. I’m not keen on 100% linen as at always looks slept in. John Lewis sell quality but Wilko sell much more affordable 100% cotton bedding.
Dunelm have a good choice and I also get sometimes from Tk Maxx ,can find very good quality bedding for a good price.
I just bought some sheets from dunelm. I have bought from b&m before and the quality just isn’t there, goes bobbly and thin. Dunelm all the way
I normally buy from Dunelm etc. And tend to not get them online but sometimes Amazon has pretty cheap and good looking ones so i tend to get them too
