Where have you been for a city escape abroad? Have you been anywhere brilliant that you can't help but recommend and if so, what are your top tips for the trip? Is it better for couples or family friendly? What time of year did you go?

SaverDeals my best friend and her husband went for a long weekend for valentines and saw tons and said it was well worth it. I personally wouldnt go for a weekend but thats just me and plenty of people do x
I always wanted to visit NYC but not for a weekend. If you spend hours or one whole day with travelling a weekend is just not enough and you have to hurry to see as many things you can.
For Europe Berlin or Reykjavík. Further afield I really like Tokyo and Osaka. I would like to visit Hong Kong and Singapore 
Yes I would certainly put my vote towards Berlin. Such an interesting place, loads to do, lovely people and great shopping too.
Going to New York In September, I've wanted to go for years and I'm finally doing it, I can't wait.
Closer to home I really recommend Prague, Dubrovnik and Krakow.
Depends how far you want to travel and how long you are going for.
Rome, Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, Berlin, Venice, Milan, Belgium are brilliant for a weekend break.
New York, Florida, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Cairo are good if you plan to go for longer.
