Best Way to De-Ice Car?

I just saw the warm water and bag method, definitely will be giving that a try. I usually just pour warm water over the screen but I’ve heard this isn’t good to do.

I park on the shady side of the street. The night before I am due to go out early in the morning i spray my car liberally with a solution of vinegar and water. As long as it doesn’t get sort of mega cold this tends to stop the windscreen freezing over.if it has frozen over I have to use a de-icing spray as due to physical disability i cannot stand up long enough to rub a plastic over the windscreen.

Just warm water and two fried

My son has the same problem trying to de ice the car. Today we bought him a screen cover that also covers the wing mirrors.

Family has always used warm water pour over the windscreen and door handles lol

Or use cardboard to cover front area of car

I tend to just start the engine, stay with me car and scrape the windows,

Thankfully oh leaves before me and defrosts the car for me. When I get there its almost done and ready to go
