Best Way to De-Ice Car?

Ask a Question

When you are in a rush in the Morning, what's the best way to de ice your car? 🥶

I heard one of the best ways is to fill a bag for life with warm water then gently move it over the windscreen. Has anyone tried this?

I just saw the warm water and bag method, definitely will be giving that a try. I usually just pour warm water over the screen but I’ve heard this isn’t good to do.

I park on the shady side of the street. The night before I am due to go out early in the morning i spray my car liberally with a solution of vinegar and water. As long as it doesn’t get sort of mega cold this tends to stop the windscreen freezing over.if it has frozen over I have to use a de-icing spray as due to physical disability i cannot stand up long enough to rub a plastic over the windscreen.

My son has the same problem trying to de ice the car. Today we bought him a screen cover that also covers the wing mirrors.
