I think if there was a way to earn money quickly that was legal, there wouldn't be so many people struggling, even people that work 2 jobs are visiting food banks

I don’t think there is a quick way to make money other than working more hours

I don't think there is a way to make it fast but there are a few obvious things that you can do. Look at everything in your house with a 'arbitrary eye' - is it no longer wanted? has your style changed? is it in good enough condition to sell? even ask your family if there's anything they want to donate then look around for the best car boot days. Personally, I haven't done it in a long time but it is a great way to make some cash on things you really don't need. You could do the same on ebay but the fees can be prohibitive. The best of the survey sites offer Amazon vouchers or cash so it's worth looking through this thread. Another option - can you make something that the public wants without too much outlay and time - craft fairs, school fetes. Good luck with whatever you decide.

vickymartin33 if you are already at legal limit surely anything you earn over that will be illegal? If there was a way to earn a decent amount of money quickly and easily I think we would all be doing it!

May not make you much but take a look around your home and see if you have things that you no longer need or use. I have sold quite a few things which I no longer use in the house and garden, as well as clothes and handbags and successfully sold these items on local selling sites as well as Marketplace on Facebook, because they are local collection there are no postal costs incurred either.

Blimey, no offence , but I wish I had the money to go to Disneyland Paris just once. I am a parent of three and I'm self employed working around 20+ hours from home. Money is a struggle at the time of year anyway, however this year seems to have started badly with car maintenance and household dramas. So i am always looking to boost the income anyway I can.

Obviously selling various things on Ebay and Facebook are a staple but to be honest I personally don't have the time for a second job! Budgeting is the only way I manage really and crossing my fingers too.

When i was at university I made a little by doing usual student jobs in restaurants but also as a life drawing model! It took a bit of balls at were, but I just switched off and did it. TBH I found it very boring and a little pain full staying in he positions for long periods. I'm not suggesting you do that mind you!!

On a lighter note, years ago in a nightclub, a guy once asked if he could lick my toes for £20!!!

Initially I was appalled but as my girlfriend laughed, I said ok, what the he'll. Nothing dirty or sexual really!!

I doubt if people wanting to lick your toes are ten a penny mind!!!! Was funny though!!!

There are loads of ways to make extra money fast.

Here's a useful list of 50 ideas: https://www.moneywise.co.uk/work/earning-money/50-ways-make-money

A good way to prioritise what to do, is to work out what will definitely put real money in your hand within:

a) days

b) weeks

c) months

Sometimes what appear to be easy ways of making money (entering competitions etc) actually aren't. Some methods of earning extra money pay far less than the minimum wage once you factor in how many hours you actually spend doing them. Beware.

The fastest methods, such as baby-sitting, dog-walking, gardening, taking in ironing, can put extra cash in your hand almost instantly.

Good luck!

Johnny😊

I spend a out of my spare time doing surveys and missions outside the home. So many sites it would take forever to list them all. A lot do pay in Amazon vouchers but friends and family buy them off me. You won’t make millions but I had four holidays last year and that included Australia. I don’t work any other job but I am careful how I spend my money. It does take time and patience.

Sell unwanted stuff on ebay.

Download apps such as greenjinn, shopmium and check out smart you'll be able to make some money back on your shopping.

Use apps/sites such as branded surveys, onepoll and curios cats to earn some extra money.

I know its not much but hopefully it helps.

What first popped into my head was rob a bank. that's a get rich quick but there's jail time. In this day and age, I'm not sure how to make money quick. Surveys bring in a little per month but not enough to pay the mortgage. Music magpie ended up with about half of my cd collection when I was really strapped for cash in 2018. Go through all your contracts with different companies and see if you can save by going elsewhere when the contract is up.

Like others have said having a clear out and maybe doing a car boot sale. There's a lot of sellers of Essens perfume, scentsy, darceys, Body shop etc. You need to work at them but I see a few that make a nice wee top up on their wages.

As others have said, selling anything of value if you have it. Also cutting back unnecessary spending, food or coffees when out. Homemade soups made from cheap veg from aldi or lidl for as many meals as possible.
