If its a long haul definitely ear plugs. There will be a baby or toddler crying at some points when youre trying to have a snooze πŸ˜‚

Hehehehe those planes fly too high to jump out with parachute...probably mobile charger is great with earphones or headphones, You can download all your favorite music and listen to them

Either an ipad with films/tv show downloaded or a book to read so you have something to do.

Not my favourite thing, but if I want to go on holiday then it’s a must as I get sea sick on boats

eyeballkerry that must be horrible, thank god I've never had travel sickness....although when I was a kid on school trips, they used to force you to take travel sickness tablets, and they did make me sick!

I have to have a neck pillow or something like that because I just try and sleep a lot of my journey. I hate sitting still and not being comfortable so sleeping just wastes time! I'll often have a good book/magazines with me or something if the sleeping plan doesn't work.

A collapsable water bottle will be useful to bring

If I’m taking a long haul night flight then comfy over-ear headphones with a two pin adapter (good for movies and for reducing external noise) and an eye mask for some shut eye

For me it'll be earphones, because if there's too much noise or a baby crying i can always pop them in and be in my own world πŸ˜‚

I like taking a few snacks and a small overpriced bottle of water I had to buy in the airport. Some noise cancelling headphones would also be a good idea.

Some airports now offer free water, just take an empty bottle through the baggage control bit. Also Robinsons does a small concentrated mini mini bottle which can go through so you can add flavour to your water.

Hard boiled sweet to suck throughout the flight and some tissues in case you need a wee.

I always pack a book! The plane is such a good place to sit and just enjoy the read. I pack one that I've just not had the time to read and usually can get through on the jou there and back.
