Best Jeans That Don't Break the Bank?

Ask a Question

I really struggle to find jeans that are decent quality, fit nicely and don't cost a fortune! Shops like primark may be low in price but you end up replacing them so often as they lose their elasticity or begin to fade. Where do all you bargain hunters buy your jeans from? I'm down to one pair now and I'm in desperate need!

I was in the same boat, but then I got a pair from Sainsburys when they had 25% off. I went for straight jeans, as nobody is ready to see me in super skinny anything and I love them, though the blue ones are a slightly different cut to the black ones for some reason.

My only pair I've got at the moment is from sainsburys and they are really good. Unfortunately they have lost their shape now and I may have got a bit of paint on them 😬 but I agree they are good for the price, especially with the 25% off

I swear by Marks and Spencer's jeans, love the fit and length is great. But agree with cheaper jeans as they just don't seem to last very long.

Mine are from new look or asda. The asda jeans are brilliant. Good quality, good fit, comfy and affordable. They wash well too. I like Tesco jeans too.

NikkiGraham I've got a couple of pairs of theirs, tried them on in the shop and they fitted brilliantly, but between leaving and getting home I must have grown 3 inches as they were nearer my knees than my ankles. How??

I really like the Sainsburys Sculpt and Lift and they are wearing well but I admit that I hand wash them. I will definitely buy them again when there is a sale on.

I always buy my skinny jeans from George (Asda). Iv found them the best fit for me & they wash really well & last. My fav jeans tho are a pair of M&S boyfriend fit. I picked mine up in a charity shop but I would definitely pay full price.

The worst jeans I ever bought were Mom jeans from Primark (reference coming for us older kids), they were like MC Hammer trousers, the crotch was at my knees, be great for when I'm older and have reached the Tena years

I now get my jeans from Uniqlo when they're on offer, and they are quite well made and very comfortable (comfort wasn’t a priority when I was younger lol). I get them when they go down to about £9.90. They seem to last as well

To slow down fading, turn your jeans inside out when you wash them.

It's obviously a different gender and women's jeans are harder to get the right fit but my partner got a really nice pair from Next, they're really good quality and they were £22 so it might be worth a wee look in there.
