Best Place to Buy Meat
Ask a Question
Decent cuts not oddly tied pieces? Butchers seem so expensive, stores seem to never have good cuts.
Any advice?
I would say look for a better butchers, as some have really good deals and great quality meat. Our local butcher has some great deals like two packs of chicken breasts with three big fillets in each pack is only £5, and you can really tell the difference compared to supermarket meats as no added water comes out of them and the meat tends to be less fatty. I shop at our local butchers every week to get our weeks worth of meat and wouldn’t go back to buying supermarket meat now! Hopefully you can find a nice local butcher with reasonable deals!
Interesting comments here. All Butchers have to comply with standards and yet someone suggests you go to a Halal butcher. The only speculation they have, is that the meat is prepared in a religious way and whilst they don't skimp on cleanliness and such, it's really no different really to normal slaughterhouses except the latter do not slit throats of animals and let them bleed dry without stunning them first.
