Best Way to Sell Baby Clothes?
Ask a Question
I've tried facebook, gumtree and schpock but have sold very few, has anyone got any tips? Or did you take yours to a charity shop?
I have always sold items in bulk easy to shift or if have eBay thatβs a good site for cloths cash for cloths gives you some money and then they go to good causes so your paid to help not much but something
Yeah I agree ebay is the best for this kind of thing. Just put them together in sizes and sell groups rather than individually.
I see a lot of people selling bulk baby clothes, separated into categories like 0-3 months boy, etc on Facebook and they always seem to go quickly!
I gave my sons 0-3 month clothes to the local neonatal unit.
But I've seen people sell them in bundles on fb and gumtree and they seem to sell quick.
I did a car boot sale with mine, made quite a bit from them aswell selling outfits for a couple of quid and the babygrows etc for 50p.
Tasha042 it only takes a few hours of your day doing a car boot. I find facebook/ebay more time consuming listing things individually, then having to answer numerous people that just like to waste time and then make sure i am home for collection Unless you sell them in bundles.
KirsteyJames yes I've only listed things over Β£5 now as it's so frustrating when you wait in only to get Β£2 or they don't even turn up
I think your best bet is probably ebay or on a local Facebook site. It's really luck of the draw on whether you're advertising at the right time though!
