Best Value Way to Buy Birthday/occasion Cards?

Ask a Question

Has anyone got any advice to share on how to save money when buying birthday or occasion cards for family/friends? I have considered buying the variety packs but not sure how good they are. Any recommendations of shops to look at would be great.

Many charity shops have nice cards for around 99p and M&S cards are cheaper than many.

I try to avoid paying more than £1 for a card buy spares when I see ones I like.

Card factory are good although a lot of them do look cheap. I like Asda for single cards, reasonable quality and can usually get a half way decent one for under £1.

I bought a pack of hand made mother's day cards off eBay, really good quality and saved me a fortune.

Where I live in Kent, we have Right Kard who sell cards for 40p. Or have you thought about making your own, I used to do quilling, time consuming but relaxing.
