Ask a Question

Which is the best way to remove blood stains on sheets? I don't have any products apart from salt and cold water and washing machine.

Found this info:

Salt is great at drawing blood out of fabrics, especially absorbent ones. Sprinkle it on or make a paste and allow it to sit until dry. Scrape off the paste once dry and rinse with cold water. If it helps but the stain persists, repeat until no more blood is absorbing

GSM unfortunately they haven't come off in full after putting in the washing machine. They are drying in the garden now. What else can I try now?

Hot water would defo deepen the stain and make it really hard if not impossible to remove.

If you have already washed it then the stain is not going to come out as the hot water will have deepened the stain

GSM then you need to repeat the process. I always soak the item in cold water for a few hours, rinse it out, then hand wash in cold water and if needed use salt or stain remover. It still might not come out though
