Can you envisage having an operation under local anaesthetic (with TV goggles to watch your favourite boxset) so that you can be discharged from hospital sooner?

Certainly got a good review from a patient undergoing prostate surgery wearing the goggles. Seems very positive from the news report last night. If it helps patients under local anaesthetics distracting their thoughts whilst surgeons are operating must be beneficial.
