Bugs and Viruses
Ask a Question
If you get a bug do you then clean the whole house to disinfect the place or do you just carry on doing what you normally do?
Just carry on as normal, picking up bugs is inevitable, I'm more interested in resting when poorly than cleaning.
I try to keep the house as clean as possible, and mosquitoes? I just can't let them alive. They bite me and it's frustrating.
Some have a lot of blood that they absorbed from victims.
Carry on doing what I normally do once you have got it you have got it. It normally comes from outside the home so not much point going round disinfecting everything when it’s on you, your clothes and shoes
It does depend on what sort of bug it is (head or stomach) - sickness and diarrhoea means extra wiping of door handles, light switches, taps and hand-towel changing. If it's colds etc then I wouldn't put any extra effort in - everyone has either spread it with coughs and sneezes or incubating it so it can't be stopped.
Same as angemski, if something contagious like D&V then I confine whoever to the spare room and make sure I’m on it with the disinfecting. Otherwise I just clean as I normally would
I just do the latter. Most likely, I caught the bug from someone else, somewhere outside of home. Most likely at work or on my commute. But that’s life
