Do You Buy Protein Bars?
Ask a Question
Do you buy protein bars? If so, which ones?
I find that most are far too expensive, so I might get them if I see them on offer, but otherwise I’m not willing to spend money on them, even if they’re supposedly better for you than other snack bars
My husband is a cyclist and makes his own protein bars. Oats, nuts, dried fruits are the main ingredients.
That’s a good idea. It’s most likely cheaper, and you know what you’re getting/putting into it, so it will be healthier too
Not really into that, but have plenty of nuts that were acquired from a tree from our family.
The green she'll was probably the least favorite aspect of it because our fingers turned all black and then it took days to get back to normal.
This is what the green shell of nuts looks like:
I do not see the point of protein bars. I am sure I eat enough other source protein and do not need to chew on extra.
Wondering if they have some health benefits. Usually body builders eat them.
Yes, usually I see gym bodies have the protein shakes at hand, and nowadays it’s protein bars. The ones building on muscle mass, or do strenuous weight training, swear buy the additional protein on their diet, and having the bars is like a snack alternative to the mountains of dry chicken breasts and tuna they eat. But for normal people our standard diets should be sufficient for our everyday lives
I used too, i try to look for deals or discount codes online or get tgem via Amazon and use a gift card
