Did anyone take part and win anything from last year’s competition?
We usually buy boxes/packs of Creme Eggs, but will have to switch to buying individual ones to see if I can find a gold one. Probably won't win, but it's a fun contest.
I bought 3 of them yesterday, but like every other time in the past had no luck. You can increase your chances by purchasing them in certain stores. I'd avoid getting them in Booths and Iceland if you're interested in winning. i usually buy the boxes though. You would think they would put them in boxes to save people opening them to check like last year though 
Yes, that would make sense. When I first read about the competition I just pictured people going around scratching the foil wrapping to check
