Hi N, i like clipper white tea, its organic and there is no plastic in the bags , and you can get more than one cup out of a bag its so strong

TerenceMealing at last someone else who thinks that one bag can be too strong ....the family think I'm stingy but I truly do find one bag enough for two! Ha tho .... we now usually have a teapot and leaves so that helps me conceal my 'strange ways'😄

BORDERJOE Why waste it if its still strong enough and you can use again B, , i was brought up in a big family so nothing could afford to be wasted , besides white tea is more expensive than other teas per bag

I wouldnt give my guests a used bag of course, but for myself its fine

Another thing to try they havent mentioned in the article is root ginger

I eat a small slice a day and take it with a sweet apple because of the strong flavour

It has lots of health benefits also and has anti bacterial properties

TerenceMealing yes, ginger is powerful,I had a real bad chest infection, the only thing that would shift it was ginger in herbal tea, wasn't the tastiest but it helped, when antibiotics failed,...I do take tumeric capsules daily, not had a cold/flu in a long time x

BORDERJOE I have a piece every day without fail, i wont go into my age because of internet privacy and security but i am 100 per cent fit and have no illnesses i know of and dont take any medication, and i am not an excercise freak, far from it

If you look after yourself and eat a balanced diet and take some extra recommendations you will have a fighting chance of staying healthy and living to a good age

Of course, your genetics play a part and some diseases can be passed down through family , but some of the foods etc mentions can combat them to some extent

If you check the benefits of white tea you will see not only medical benefits but cosmetic too

It can reduce wrinkles amongst other things, so a sort of botox without the injections

I swear it works after having had many years of sun on my face without wearing sunglasses

I didn't know the wrinkle tip either .... and I agree ...about knowledge ...just wish there were more hours in a day (and NO I will not get up earlier ....I need my sleep! 😆 ) TerenceMealing

BORDERJOE If you are not getting enough sleep B dont worry about the bags under the eyes, tea bags are the solution , even kermit is getting in on the act, but hes trying to cure frogs legs 😇

I have always been a huge fan of tea, particularly the green varieties. i just enjoy drinking it - if it does anything else, then that’s a bonus

Green tea is very healthy too H, but i prefer the flavour of white tea, besides having slightly more health benefits, but good on you

TerenceMealing i know what you mean. I’ve never liked white as I find it too mild, but it does have less caffeine

You can't beat Tetley tea. Strong and milky

Black tea like tetley is good , but doesnt have all the benefits of green and white tea

Black tea is picked mature , whereas white tea is picked young, and thats why its healthier, the younger teas maintain more goodness and nutrients

I have drank tea all my life, but only started on white tea about three years ago when i read an article about it , i dont have sugar or milk with it to get the full strength , milk tends to weaken it

But i wont knock any black tea if its your preferred cuppa , you are still getting some goodness and keeping hydrated

Just as an additional comment i did win a competition with yorkshire tea in 2013 , and got a special trip with other winners on the london route orient express, it was a fantastic day and there was a brass band onboard , cakes and sandwiches, unlimited tea and tea cocktails .

We got yorkshire tea pots and mugs and a souvenir newspaper to keep with our pictures on the front

A day i will never forget

Heres a link to the trip
