Carpet Cleaner

Ask a Question

Hi, can anyone advice how to clean a carpet where the stain has increased? Tried to clean it with Dr Beckman but it got bigger. I have angry neighbors and don't know what to do. Is it expensive pay a company to do it? It is a small space

Try the elbow grease spray or bicarbonate of soda. You could rent a rug dr and do it yourself, would be cheaper than getting someone in. You could get a quote to see how much it would be and decide from there.

Vanish carpet cleaner is quite good. When cleaning carpet stains you have to scrub from the outside edge inwards to avoid spreading the stain. The rug Doctor also has various stain remover sprays depending on what the stain is.

Failing that, it wouldn’t be too expensive to have a professional clean the carpet.

The thing is that I don't think it is the stain any longer, it is my fault as I spreaded it! Will that products work?

I agree with MrsCraig elbow greese is fab for cleaning carpets. A rug doctor is available for 24 pounds for weekend most places

Yea same poster but it is not about dog poo anymore I am afraid. It is about the mark that the stain has left which is due to the product I used....
