Carpet Cleaners, Which One to Buy?

Can anyone help with what carpet cleaner is best. I have 4 cats, 2 dogs plus 3 children and a husband...all trampling mud and mess on my carpets. I've decided to invest in a carpet cleaner...but have no idea which one to buy. I looked at vax ones on amazon, they have about 10 different models 
. I have no.idea which features I need!!!
I don’t know but am interested in one as well. You could train your children and husband to change into slippers, not the pets though.
I have had a vax one for a few years now. It is stored in our car port which I can’t get to at the moment, son is asleep. But I would highly recommend it. We had three dogs and two cats and the amount it picks up in fur is amazing. The bonus is my youngest, 22, actually enjoys cleaning the carpets.

) which vax is it, there are so many different ones (if nott sure name, what colour is it)

We have a vax, had it for a few years now. Ours isn't a fancy one. It has an attachment for upholstery and the stairs. Think ours was £120. But I bought it during Black Friday so it was about £80. Think about what you are using it for and then buy the cheapest one that does what you want it too.

It all depends on how much you want to spend. What I normally do Is find one on Amazon then go onto YouTube and watch someone using and testing It. That way I will know If that Is the one I need but dont just watch one video, watch a few.
