Cheap Scooters
Money Saving
Looking to purchase two light weight scooters, adult size but having real problems, can anyone help please ?
Hm, it might help if you want a manual or electric scooter. Electric scooters are impressively good.. for one person and a backpack (it does the job).
Are they legal to ride though? I wanted to get one for my husband but I don't think he can go anywhere with it, not on roads nor pavement...
I saw a dude on the road with an electric scooter and he looked pretty cool and enjoyable, but legal? I honestly don't know.
If bicycles are then electric scooters probably are too. gaelle0501
gaelle0501 This is for my holiday, that’s why I want it light weight. The law states any wheeled vehicles should be in the road. This includes prams which is absolutely ridiculous. I went to local police station and this is what they told me, but also if riding sensible, scooters and bikes are allowed on pavements where I live.
eyeballkerry That is ridiculous. I've seen people on disabled electric wheelchairs using the pavement but what are you gonna do about it, tell him/her to use the road? It's bad enough they're disabled as it is.
Oxelo town 9 is a manual scooter that is best for adults. I have this scooter. Got it from Decathlon in-store.
I wouldn't recommend going too cheap with scooters as when you're going at high speed it's really important that you are safe. Definitely check out the reviews.
I am not looking to go high speed but thanks for your concern. It’s just to get me back to my villa after a night out on holiday.
