Chile to Introduce Controversial 'Virus-Free' ID

In the News

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-52436330

Chile's government says it will go ahead with a controversial plan to issue certificates to people who have recovered from Covid-19.

The documents would be given to people to allow them to return to work, Deputy Health Minister Paula Daza said.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has said there is "no evidence" that people who contract coronavirus are immune from being infected again.

As all countries consider exploring different ways to come out of the lockdown, is this a dangerous one? Or does it make sense to at least start somewhere? After all, this virus isn’t going to just disappear, as it’s most likely to stay with us for a while, along side other viruses and illnesses

OK, so you manage to be clear and get issued with a certificate.

Then you meet someone with the virus.... catch it.....

So your certificate is now worthless.... but you still have it

and it is still declaring that you are fine?!

Ridiculous 🐞
