Chris Packhams Instinctive Bird Sniffing is Not a Crime, Say Police

In the News

We all now live in a world where everything you do and say has to be carefully thought about well in advance before you perform any actions

This is a typical example of that , where the naturalist Chris Packham was in danger of prosecution over sniffing a goshawk chick !!

God forbid i nearly typed naturist , that would have been a story !!

Now i could understand if this was some persons underwear, there might be a crime in there somewhere where the police could justify handcuffing and hauling the perpetrator off to the nearest cell for a few years, first having removed themselves from other important duties , like hiding behind a bush with a radar trap to catch a speeding motorist, for example

Thankfully after an investigation they found no crime had been committed , phew !

He lives to sniff another day

MelissaLee1 I too like to sniff things, not sure why, I do it sometimes without even realising, sniffing birds does seem abit odd, however people sniff baby's all the time, maybe it's the same kind of thing for Chris as animals are kinda his babies, 🤔

Smelling birds is weird, but no reason for it to be a crime.

I love the smell of puppies, the police and justiciable system have not better to do, heaven forbid they actually catch criminals, country is doomed

martinlufc5637 The problem is the police are always onto the wrong scent as far as crime goes, maybe thats why they don't like others sniffing around 😀

That’s a ridiculous waste of police time. Whoever reported him should be held in a cell for a week!
