Christmas!
Ask a Question
Are you already planning menus etc or waiting to hear what we've allowed to do re: visiting friends/families etc?
It's still too early for me to be making any kind of Christmas plans. I'll probably start my shopping in a week or two, but the rest I'll leave until December.
I’ve put my M&S food order in as I wanted a Christmas Eve slot for collection. I always get a few treats from there at Christmas.
It’s a normal Xmas in my house only people who live with me in-laws will drop presents and make way back home. If people are worried can’t do this or that when you come out of lock down have a early Xmas meal and exchange presents
We have some friends we will miss but on the whole we are very happy just being together. I'll do the whole meal for the two of us and we will watch some films on the TV, or watch DVD's if we don't want to see the TV films.
I think it may be too early to decide, depending if you need to travel etc. My parents live in Yorkshire so I don’t know if I will be allowed to travel to visit them!
I usually have xmas at my house with the people who live with me so no change. The biggest difference will be exchanging gifts with others. Christmas is usually stressful as my son is on the spectrum and it can be overwhelming for him visiting loads of people so I need to work out how they can come to us to exchange gifts safely & as others have said if not possible then we'll have mini Christmas's at some point later
Probably no different for us as we didn't have guests/visitors. Visit M in L as she's our bubble. Daughter was/is/will be planning to call and collect presents which will be put on the front wall when she arrives and we'll watch from the window
I usually get a nice big plump turkey but this year I've got a couple of frozen crowns just in case I can't get it
