having such a large family for christmas day i prep all my veg and freeze it so i am not stood around for a long time prepping on christmas day
does anyone else do this?
and do you think it taste the same or does it lose or lock in flavour?
I always do mine on Christmas Eve while I’m waiting for the children to fall asleep I just leave it in water in the pans and it’s fine and still fresh on Christmas Day. I just change the water before cooking it
Just ordered the sides from Sainsbury`s Christmas Foods.
But thinking next year I will just do Aldi Christmas. They have a good range of frozen foods.
I havent ever frozen it....but it makes great sense....i love parsnips cooked with maple syrup or honey....really tasty.
I prep all my veg the night before and leave in water. I like to set my Christmas table on Christmas Eve as always like a nicely displayed and festive table.
