What was your Christmas fail this year?
I actually had it go really smoothly for the first time ever! We kept it quieter this year and saw family in the days before christmas so on the day it was just the 3 of us.
Partner worked from Christmas Day afternoon to Boxing Day afternoon & was expecting Pork with all the Christmas trimmings,however daughter & I forgot to get the joint out & it was too late when I realised so wouldn't be defrosted in time! Daughter & I had Christmas Dinner at home with partner's brother on Christmas Day, there was some meat left but not enough to feed us three adults.
Partner came home around 2.30pm Boxing Day & watched Football with our daughter I HATE it so walked 40 min to Asda & 40 min back after buying a Chicken & other items. My partner offered me a lift but I wanted him to relax & I wanted the walk,he & daughter sorted the Dinner then we opened our Christmas presents before watching Dr Who...There's a rule in our home that we always watch Christmas Day Dr Who together, partner & daughter are MASSIVE Whovians!
