You can never go wrong with personalised gifts. Everyone seems to like chocolate also. 🙂

We usually get their fav drink, sweets or chocs and something personalised from the kids. If there’s anything particular they’ve mentioned we keep note x

Put some thought into it , no use asking randoms on a shopping website . Think what are their hobbies ?

Gardening , washing the car , reading , bird watching , whatever ? Then (you have lots of time ) find a good deal that suits (avoid the Amazon Chinese tat often posted on here ! ).

Decide from your own knowledge what they'd like and then keep an eye on the prices at various retailers over the next 2 or 3 months . You'll find a suitable £40 gift for £20 or less .

I like to always get personal gifts.. hate giving (and receiving) generic gifts unless it’s someone you don’t know well... I’m getting my mother in law some fancy candles (she loves candles), some cat socks (crazy cat lady) and some burgundy boots (she loves anything burgundy and purple)

I think gift sets or gift cards you can never go wrong with! 😆

Although make sure they don't have sensitive skin if you are buying bath bombs etc as I had my in-law return her gift to me because she couldn't use it which was slightly embarrassing.
