Christmas and Pets

Ask a Question

Do all of you with pets buy them gifts for christmas- ashamed to say that our dog is usually the first I buy for. He also gets a special christmas dinner! What about everyone else?

My cats can get all the boxes and wrapping that the presents come in this xmas - I’ve learnt over the years that they’re happier with the packaging than they are with the gifts

OneeyedRaven oh god yes, they’re always waiting for the moment to rip the tree apart! And it’s worse when there’s 2 of them - tag team! Lol

We always buy our pets for Christmas. We sadly no longer have our dog but our chinchilla enjoys Christmas morning too 🥰

I buy my dogs and all their doggie friends presents 🤣 they sometimes get some veg and some meat on Christmas Day but I’m not usually hosting so depends on if there’s anything left.. I cook them special dinners for their birthdays though 🙂

The pets are the 1st members of family and buy for and the ones I enjoy buying for as I know they will like their treats and toys whereas with the human members of the family I never know if they will use what I buy them or will it be put in a drawer and forgotten.

Our dog ways gets a new tennis ball and she gets a special Christmas dinner too. She was our first baby so she gets spoilt rotten.

I think pets owners accept they are part of the family and dont want them to be left out, and there are some nice treat sets they can get

When we had our dog she’d get gifts....as she got older and had everything it was usually new beds or chews for the ol girl.

My dog gets wrapped presents under his own little tree. If we say presents he runs to check under his tree. He loves unwrapping presents so much he helps open ours. This year hes getting a new bed & blanket, toys & treats. He'll also get his own version of christmas dinner. Hes very loved & spoilt.

They get a little something. A treat maybe, or a new embarrassing costume for them to wear...
