MelissaLee1 my cat star stations herself in front of the oven whenever there is meat cooking, she will sit there for hours patiently waiting for her share, lol
PHOENIX :
Some Treats, some bits off the Christmas meal & maybe a new Hot Water Bottle to warm his paws when he comes in from his walk!
My little boy loves to be warm,he sleeps in his bed next to the radiator!
TOPAZ: Treats, bits of the Christmas meal & some clippers for her claws, she jumps on my shoulder & expects me to carry her around as she purrrrrs in my ear but her claws are sharp!
Topaz is an outdoor cat like her brother Phoenix so Vet doesn't cut their claws too short as they need them for climbing!
You can’t forget bout the pets, even my grandkids tell their parents they have to get something for my miniature schnauzer Pixie lol
chele44 I'm a cat person really but if ever I had a dog it would be one of these, I'm so glad you posted because I didn't know what they were called, when I try and explain them to people I say they look like they are wearing 80's flared trousers and no- one has any idea what I'm talking about, lol
slightfoot I’ve been asked to breed her by lots of people cos she’s the most chilled out dog ever. I get up at half 6 in morning to get granddaughter sorted for school etc. Pixie lifts her head, gives me that look that I’ve disturbed her and turns her head back and goes back to sleep till half 10/11 and come half 6/7 in evening if my daughter and grandson r in mine she stands at door and keeps watching my daughter. My daughter will tell her I’m drinking my cuppa and Pixie will wait few minutes then bark at her as if to say times up and then runs to bed
Unfortunately, Harvey the woofer has a sensitive stomach, so can't really have any treats.
Beenie, our last doggo, used to eat absolutely everything and was partial to her own personal taco when we were having them. She loved Xmas with all the attention
TheChimp Would you ever look at getting a toy or something instead of treats?
SamGoodship Harvey would rip it to bits within seconds. He's only really interested in those knobbly plastic balls. He has a collection of about 8 and changes the colour every other day. It's his blue one today. They are the only things that he can't destroy.
Oh yes, I always get my star something, she has her own stocking, filled with her favourites- dreamie creamies, the pyramid melt in the middle things and a couple of new toys, she's 20 years old now and getting frail, so probably her last Christmas
slightfoot ...What a Star, she is absolutely absolutely stunning, can't believe your kitty is 20,she looks soo well. Love her unusual back leg, never seen a cat with those markings.
janphoenix51 I know she's a sweetheart, she's starting to show her age a little bit now, she feels the cold, has her own hot water bottle for her bed,lol she must have good genes as i also had her two children , fatboy was 17 when he died last year and pluto was 16 when she passed 2years ago, still cant quite believe shes still going
Of course. I make sure my old rescue dog has food before me. Christmas he gets toys, new blanket, lead or new coat, his favour treats. Whatever needs replacing. He gives unconditional love 24/7 so its a pleasure to see him happy.
My dog loves Christmas & is well aware that he gets presents. Iv bought him a bunch of new toys already & a new bed. He will get some treats too. All will be wrapped & placed under his own little tree. He gets a Christmas dinner too.
The family dog gets presents from us. She lives with my brother but belongs to all of us. My kids tell you they have a dog. She expects presents from us.
My old cats had stocking. Fatboy used to sleep in front of them in the lead up to Xmas day and used to look upset when he woke and it was still empty. He loved getting Xmas presents.
Jerseydrew omg, I had a cat called Fatboy, he was a big black dude, he died last year at 17 year old
Jerseydrew omg yes my Fatboy was really called bellbell, but he would answer to Fatboy, more people knew him as Fatboy than bellbell
A pet isn't just an animal they are part of the family. Fact. I happily spoil my pets. The dog tends to get a home made cake. The love and bond she has with the kids is lovely. My old cat fatboy only trusted and loved me, my mum and daughter. It took him 4 years to trust me. 2 years he was living with me. His sister was the opposite and far too trusting and would go off with anyone. He couldn't care where he lived as long as he was with someone he trusted. She hated change especially in the home.
100 percent, we also get them a special Lilly’s Kitchen Christmas dinner edition of there food
My elderly four paws will get a full Christmas dinner, cuddles and heaps of sleeps at nearly thirteen years old
Pinkspirit so cute! My dog is only 1… but she gets a roast dinner every Sunday.
