Christmas Shopping 2022
Ask a Question
Well I must say some of the deals and discount codes posted so far this year have 0been brilliant and I've taken full advantage and got a good head start on my Christmas shopping for 2022. Has any one else started their festive shopping??? It makes brilliant sense as you can get things at such good prices in the January sales. I've got about £750 worth of gifts most of them designer brands and I've spent less than £300. Xmas shopping this way eliavates the pressure financially on the months running upto the festive season for me, does any one else agree and do it this way??? X
Already started mine, I usually look i to sales throughout the year to save some coin. I also buy stuff If i can use a voucher/coupons towards my shopping.
I haven't started doing the shopping yet but I am starting to save my vouchers from my surveys to use towards the Christmas shopping as it helps us save a lot of money doing it that way.
I just give money to my children, so much easier than buying gifts and nobody wants to return it.
Im gunna save all my vouchers i earn from here and also use them to put towards xmas presents
I leave it to my partner, he loves buying gifts but spends too much. I come in and give him half and everyone's a winner
A few hours ago I placed an order for Christmas wrapping paper and a few packets of charity Christmas cards, absolute bargain.
I concentrate on the birthdays . First when the birthdays are out the way I start thinking about Christmas and start picking things up
Has the 90% Boots sale happened yet? One year I got loads of gift sets and made the contents into hampers the next Christmas. Usually now I save Amazon vouchers to buy for the grandchildren. Adults get food hampers, often including cashback freebies.
Grannyclock that's the way to go, I love making hampers for friends and family members, n I've not heard a thing about the 90% off at boots it shouldve been on by now but hasn't, usually martin Lewis gives the heads up just b4 it starts x
I am really organised this year as I bought all the personal Birthday cards that I need and presents so their all popped into gift bags in month order ready for the Birthdays. I have started a few bits for Christmas presents too .
Yes, every year. My sons birthday is a week after Christmas and we simply wouldn't be able to afford it all at once. So as soon as Christmas finishes I start shopping, it is getting harder as he gets older though.
Always start in the sales and carry on squirrelling away things all year. My problem is storage though. Nowhere to stash all the goodies!
I use 4 deep zip up IKEA storage boxes that fit perfectly in the space under my bed, they're always full buy December I'm a squirrel too ***
I usually do but I haven’t seen any good deals for what I’m after, also my sons just 5 but in 7/8 clothes so no idea what size he will be next year. But I will be picking things up when I see them x
I've got about 70% of my Christmas shopping done, but have also bought Birthday presents to the end of the year.
Yeah I got a couple of bargains yesterday , tried share them on here but something wasn’t right with them so it declined .
The last couple of years I have stopped Christmas shopping and feel so much better for it. I have adult children now and no grandchildren. What I do instead is buy something that they actually need during the year. Two of my daughter are moving so I will help them physically and purchase somethings they need for their new homes.
I never start mine early but I'm very tempted to this year. The main thing I worry about is if somebody ends up getting whatever I bought before I get to give it, in between now and Christmas.
I always start early. Even more so with the cost of living going through the roof.. I think prices at Xmas are going to be ridiculous. I have a cupboard filled with gifts suited to all ages for Xmas, birthdays etc..My neighbour brought a few things off me for a bday present as she forgot about it and started to panic. She says she'll ask again if needed. I like to be organised. I get totally stresses otherwise.
I have a load in thanks to this page I have loads for the grandchildren and got a load of slippers on the lands end sale they will do birthdays a Christmas
Aenurse1 I'm the same all my Xmas present shopping done, just got to wrap it now. I hate wrapping presents.
Hey I'm wondering if people are planning to do more Christmas shopping early before inflation increases all the prices?
