Tips for Keeping Your Home Clean and Organized

What's your cleaning regime/routine at home? Do you all split chores? Clean throughout the week or on set days? Important to set a routine otherwise the laundry, the mess can get a little out of control. How do you/your families deal with it all? 
I do it throughout the week. My husband does the majority of the cooking and I do the housework, dishes and laundry. Our son helps with simple chores.
I hate reading questions on the chat that ask for specifics from others but don't offer their own methods and also when others respond the OP doesn't bother interacting
pato I have noticed this over last couple of months I used to be a regular poster of desls and get into chat topics but we seem to be going back down the route of random questions or uninteresting topics I still have a browse but don't interact anymore. Plus I notice to much confrontation between members
Ann1984 Spot on, I had stopped posting for a while because there was to much negativity from certain members, the Question topic in chat should carry zero points as the questions are actually nonsense, if it's not what's your favourite colour, it's what can I buy the cat for it's birthday or something like that.
