Cleaning Advice

In my bathroom, I’ve got white PVC panels on my ceiling. I always have a candle lit while I’m in the bath and it’s stained the panels directly above it really badly with black soot. I’ve tried to clean it with just water, then bathroom cleaner, then Wonder Wipes and it just smeared it around and made it worse any advice?
Have you tried using a cream cleaner like a tub of the pink stuff, or cif. The pink stuff works well on loads of different surfaces and is a similar cleaner to cif. I would try those! x
Thank you, will give that a go! I heard mixed reviews on the pink stuff, some people said it’s a waste of money and some say it’s amazing
Might be worth trying a little toothpaste if you can reach the area. Don’t rub hard and use a cloth not your husbands toothbrush. Someone once told me to use this on a marked UPVC window frame.
luckily for me, I am 6ft1 so reaching it isn’t an issue... I will try that too! Never heard of using toothpaste to clean! thanks
I just usually use water downed bleach on our panelling. Pink stuff or elbow grease are good too.
If none of the other items suggested work (I don't know whether they would or not as I don't have them) you could try bar keepers friend. I comes in powder and cream forms and I have found it very good.
There is a product called elbow grease it’s only a £1 my grandma used to use it on the outside of her caravan and I use it on stains on clothes and cleaning the cooker.
