Quite coincidental that the star is my current favourite, Robert Carlyle (see Once Upon A Time chat topic).
This programme, whilst acknowledging it is fictional, just reinforced my view that most human beings are not even worthy of that status. I have no doubt whatsoever that should a similar event, as depicted in the drama, ever take place it would go the same way with the baser instincts of mankind taking over. Good, law abiding, kind people would not stand a chance and anarchy would prevail.
You would think that after all the millions of years we have been around we could have evolved into something better.
I have it downloaded on my planner but not got round to watching it yet. The plot intrigued me and I'm looking forward to watching it.
I don't have SKY, so probably won't get to watch this any time soon. I initially thought you were talking about the cheesy, but fun, 1980s action film with the same title, starring Sylvester Stallone
